Magnificent! Not the grandaddy of it all, but definitely one of the legends.

Apologies too: I had read the mention of it in the original post and guessed there was a Piccy missing

yeah i think it should of been with the other stuff in eurocade

Thats why I like original machines, I hadn't even seen a Space Invaders till I was in Chapel St Lenoards when I first started buying machines, they still had a working one in a small arcade, then the other one had Rail Chase DX, Space Gun and some others

I love the Mirrored in Screens to give the elusion it's floating. Then with Boothill, add to that the Gun Shape Sticks and it's a really nice machine to see and play, the grave stone floating up to the other in the backdrop is great and the Cart going up the road, all makes sense then, not like in mame.

I don't own many machines that are only Jamma cabs, I like those sort of machines with special screens and controls, so I only have like Double Dragon, Kung Fu Master and Street Fighter

Truly a grail cab and that one looks to be in really superb clean condition too. I believe one of the 3 you mention went to the New Frontier arcade? I am hoping to have a blast on it at the next event! More pics of yours working now please Chris

Thanks Phil

It's not perfect but not bad at all for Thunderblade, they seem to have a few design flaws, I'll post some pics when it goes together when I've at least got the engine running in my other HR-V and can pack the Engine Hoist away, it's all a mess at the minute. But it's not bad, it's kinda just how I like the machines, Been used but not trashed, had some repairs done in areas, but improved so it is good to play, may even do some other bits on the internals myself If I can improve things

I know people said they aren't good to play, which put me off abit I have to say, but after playing it, it's like Hang-On Ride on machines, you could say thats hard to play with leaning the bike, but that adds to the fun and it's something you need to practice on to get good, this is abit the same, it's quite different to playing the standup, but adds to the game I think

The other of the 3 machines he's had went to the Game Museum in Amsterdam I believe.

He said he's only found 3 over the years and one went there, so he still had 2 of them and now I have one, The plate on it says made in England, so it's back home again

I should of had one when they were on ebay in the UK, but never mind, I got one now and that means I don't have to swap boards with After Burner now

So I can have Space Harrier, OutRun, Limited Hang-On, ThunderBlade DLX cabs lined up and also After Burner Upright, Afterburner Commander would look good in the line up, but then so would Power Drift, G-Loc and lots more

Still have Rail Chase and F355 to add though but thats certainly some of the most popluar ones

This is the problem I have at the mo

Popeye is so heavy, I struggle to move it, Outrun2 cab is waiting to go wether Martin wants the job and collect while he's picking up Popeye, just thought it would be a good idea to have more machines in one go, But I need Popeye out the way so I can move the Outrun2 out there as the room isn't wide enough, so thats holding everything else up. Then I can finish Crossbow and that can go and the room will be nearly empty

What makes it worse is I have 3 more coin op machines in other parts of the house and 2 elephants and need to work on those, which I want in this room and I need space for Thunderblade too

I took that picture as I was getting a photo of this one and it's just on the right

Kinda looks abit like Boothill with the Backdrop. It's a bubble gum machine, not a clue what it should or shouldn't do and never seen another. It lights up, you pop in a 5p and there is a button on the handle, which is fixed, pressing the button lights up another bulb and rings a bell
