Run and gun Konami Bootleg

Hi everybody.

I got this rare Konami run and gun bootleg and It works, but backgrounds are not ok.

Does anyone know or have the same board?

I need to find a romset for this pcb to check the wrong ROMs.

Don't have this board and can't help with a ROMset (doesn't seem to be a bootleg romset I can see online)

But you can work out which area handles the backgrounds ...





The BLACK area will be your CPU program ROM's, the GREEN area will be your sound ROM's
The Blue areas will probably be the different GFX layers, if I had to guess I'd say the biggest area will be sprites, and the other 2 areas will be TEXT/CHARACTER layer and BACKGROUND LAYER.
Remove the roms one at a time or a group at a time in the blue areas and see what happens on screen - this will show you which ones are for which.
you could also just short address pins on the roms and see what changes on screen , but you might as well remove the roms, dump them, and re-seat them because it may just be a problem with a bad connection in rom sockets

There IS also another rom, not socketed, close to four ones down in the corner.
It came without seal protector so maybe IS corrupted.

I missed that one, but unlikely that single ROM is a background rom. more likely its actually the TEXT/CHARACTER layer rom.

IS It safe to short enable pin on ROM to jamma ground?

What is the better method to disable the ROMs one by one?
