Tell me about it lol, just swapped over mpu, will see how it fairs! First card I tried booted straight up, batteries are sitting at 2.7v so well charged

They're labelled, 2x 10uf 1x 220uf 16v I'd use standard radials and bend the legs, much easier to install and they're usually better quality too.

Hi, I’m having same problem with 3 cards. Repaired tracks etc but still have one dead, one no character id other boots flash card but doesn’t flash (pic ???) error. Ive nicked D2 diode from dead one (missing on nocharacter id one. Where do these caps go and value of D2? Do you have circuit diags? Many thanks

No schems for these as far as I know, my 2 cards that were working fine after the cap replacement have now reverted back no character ID so now I'm stuck! Apparently the chip is powered full time by the battery if the chip stops oscillating then you get the no character ID

i dont know why your metering the battery,
meter the voltage at the chip pins - incase there is a bad diode or resistor.
i also dont like the layout - it's just asking for a battery to leak under the socket!
