are these rare?
is the bit sticking out the speaker?
how is he going to play the games at that orientation?
are these ever available in the UK and at what cost?

did a bit of digging and these look absolutely amazing but i have never heard of one or seen one before

I restored one ages ago over on AO or maybe the killercabs forum and although they look good they're horrible to sit at for long periods, weigh loads and getting parts for them is like trying to find unicorn shit.

Given the choice I'd have an Aero city over the table if it was going to be my main cab.

Plus it'll cost a fortune to get one - they still pop up for sale in Japan from time to time but they're usually tatty and with the speaker pods missing.

I also used to have one, mine had the speaker pod missing but otherwise great condition.

To be honest not that comfortable to play on but built like a tank, same 26 inch monitor as the Aero city and simple to rotate.

Like all cocktail type cabinets - they look nice as a piece of furniture, but for long term playing they aren't ideal. For a decent Aero in todays market you'd be looking at over £3.5k while an Aero could be around £1.5-2k - both share the same 26" Nanao monitor generally - both built like tanks with proper steel. :D
