Space Invaders Deluxe Fire Engine Red

Now the weather is better, it's time to do some painting, but I'm having trouble tracking down the correct Red for our Midway Space Invader Deluxe.

According to KLOV it is "Fire Engine Red" but that seems to be a US colour description, the nearest I can find is "Real Red" which Google says is 97% similar to Fire Engine Red

Anyone know of a good match for the Red, Blue of the Invaders, and White for the rockets?

I've attached the RGB of what Photoshop thinks it is which looks similar

What about pillar box red or post office red? maybe you can scan the a piece of the machine and get B&Q to mix it for you, done this in the past

That's what I was thinking. Surely, these days there's various places that will mix up any colour you want.

Yep - looks like I'll need to get it mixed.

Post office red (just checked with the Pantone book) is more Cherry than Red (strangely) - here's an RGB for comparison

Hmm, maybe poppy red then?
