As soon as I get my geebee table out of storage it's getting the powder costing treatment.
Your a braver or should I say more skilled man than me stripping the veneer, how close a match have you found?

i looked into sandblasting and powder coating my two cocktails but can't seem to find anywhere that does it - what sort of places can you get it done at?

This roll arrived yesterday, I believe you brought Indian rosewood jon but I couldn't find that so I am using this one which I used on space fever . Once stained it looks really nice .

Well any local ironmonger would know, as gates and railings have the same treatment .

I just searched on google for shotblasting in my local town and made a few phone calls. Paid £70 all in to do my Space Fever - included shotblasting and powdercoating.

Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out Alex!

This weather is terrible and it's put me out of work, but at least I've been able to crack on with my resto
So today I sanded down the edges on the top

Then I ironed on the veneer sides which I found quite easy really

Then I had to trim of the excess with a knife

After two hours all done
What I will need to do next is stain it

Just a bit of advice, to get a crisp looking edge from the iron on veneer the best tool to use to trim it is not a knife but a Laminate trimmer.

btw awesome resto

Ok how much is one of theses tools ?
I don't really do enough to warrant one really

Right at last, the cab is back from the powder coaters and I have a new glass and every thing is ready to be re assembled
While I was waiting 3 weeks for all this I've been stripping a dk cocktail
Which will be minty and up for sale when finished
I can't wait to see and play space launcher now
