Hi All,
This thread will detail the recent
‘Space Panic’ Electrocoin cabinet pick up and look ahead to its complete restoration . There is very little information available about the cabinet so I would like this page to act as a resource for anyone who may come across one in the future .
Big thanks to Mark McCaffer for originally taking the cabinets in and subsequently offering them up for a chance of survival.
We also had a great Electrocoin natter on the phone before collection .
Here goes :
The cabinet picked up is highly likely to have been this one originally photographed and uploaded to KLOV.
Unfortunately at some point the cabinet has suffered severe water damage .
This had a huge impact on the cabinet shell and much of the laminated chipboard at the top and back has weakened or disintegrated. The inside of the cabinet is relatively dry and totally complete which I will detail.
