Will help if you provide some details about your setup.

What super gun ?
What monitor are you displaying it on & how is it all connected up etc.

Some PCB's do sync slightly differently but most monitors have a way of adjusting the sync on the display itself to overcome this.

My experience with newer TVs and Supergun setups is that they need a resistor on the sync line otherwise they scroll constantly. Looking at your Supergun it doesn't look like it has a resistor/pot on the sync line, only on the RGB lines.

I will check the trace to see. if there is not one then whats the best R value to use

EDIT: I just checked and R3 (TOP CENTRE RIGHT) is on the Sync Line. It is a 1K Resistor

Maybe it needs a little more or a little less resistance. I would take it out and add a little 5k pot there and see if that helps.

Edit: 1K is what I've seen on a lot of write-ups etc., but some TVs can be really funny (and some boards) about sync. 5K should give you enough leverage either way to get decent sync.

What game is it that isn't syncing?
