just need the correct coloured buttons to finish it off. I have just spotted some buttons in the bottom compartment of the cab but don't have a key for it.

A couple of new buttons fitted, thanks Purity and now it looks sweet. Just some blue buttons to replace the green ones to find.

Now to decide if I can source some side art for it or leave it blank.

Just to clear something up, as I've had a couple of messages, it's not for sale. I didn't buy this to sell it, it took me long enough to find and the help I've had to make it look even better is much appreciated

I can't, I'd love to as it's art I get asked for all the time! It's great to have the cpo on file now, side art would be great to get the set finished. Anyone got it? I'm happy to post my portable scanner out!

Don't think we have a scan of the US version either, yet. But yes your right Alpha, it's not to dissimilar, just alter the blue background.

Yeah it is very similar, I've noticed a few sellers on eBay UK selling converted cabs with the full US side art so the files must be out there somewhere.

I'm sure there's a scan of the US sideart. Then you just remove the blue and text and place the UK marquee at the angle instead.

Should be easy to knock up.

Am I the only one who feels that taitel were lazy when they did the bezel though?
It just looks out of place to my eyes, and generic. Or is that what it is, like a convert-a-cab thingy??

better one if you can find it

Taitel had the smarts to replace the stars & stripes references with the Union Jack. You should do the same if you use the US art

I expect someone put the files on klov for a little while or something so they got downloaded by a few guys. I must have missed them though.

Phoenix Arcade have the proper stuff, would be easy to scan a new set of that.
