So much to say and memory like a sieve I forgotten lol

oh and Darkstalkers. I have a soft spot for it as well and researched the CPS2 boards to find out which is which and Shaun got it very slightly wrong

In UK/USA the game was Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge
In Japan the game was Vampire Hunter: Darkstalkers Revenge

But Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers Revenge is actually classed as a different game. it is essentially the same game but an updated version of the pervious, but was released in JAPAN ONLY.

This is the complete order:

[1] UK/USA: Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
JAPAN: Vampire: The Night Warriors

[2] UK/USA: Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge
JAPAN: Vampire Hunter: Darkstalkers' Revenge

[2.5] JAPAN ONLY: Vampire Hunter 2 : Darkstalkers' Revenge

[3] UK/USA: Darkstalkers 3: Lord of Vampire
JAPAN: Vampire Savior: Lord of Vampire

[3.5] JAPAN ONLY: Vampire Savior 2 : Lord of Vampire

ok Shaun I also had a re listened to it twice now and yep moragan scrambling even my brain

you said Darkstalkers 2 which is incorrect

but yes you didn't say Vampire Hunter 2 as I thought you did

I basically go it mixed up as to what I thought you said

and now thinking about it I realise why you said it. you merely mentioned it in the context of it being the second Darkstalkers game in the series.

I do own a original Vampire Saviour 2 aswell :)silverfox07862015-03-04 18:42:33

Really? In that case I'm gonna shift my allegiance to Jenny the bat from the Bloody Roar series. Or even Bayonetta. Or that girl who sells you car parts in Rage on PS3. Or those twins from 'Luscious in Latex 9: Revenge of Rubber Rachel'. Erm...

Had a listen last night, it could not have come at a better time as my tablets headphones stopped working, so I was forced to return to my phone for audio only recordings. I also had a bit of paper on me too, so made sure I could write things down this time.

First up, thought it was a great show, had a bit more of an international feel to it this time I felt, as lots of talk of things all around the world which was interesting.

Data East had lots of good games. Following the Gauntlet/Breywood theme, there was also Dark Seal (Gate of Doom) and Wizard Fire, a sort of isometric gauntlet. Other good games, Joe & Mac, Sidepocket are a couple more I can think of.

Hmmm, a lack of Arcade pick ups. You could always do an ebay watch of things that have sold for silly money (high or low) there were some cockpit cabs recently on ebay in Horley, which someone snapped up, the seller also had a jamma cab with a football game that sold for just over £10! A few cocktail cabs have also recently sold pretty cheap.

Games that could have been arcade games, not sure I've said this before looking down the list of previous shows I can't see it, but the Xenon games by the Bitmap Bros would have been fab in an arcade. The gamebox art would have suited a cab.

You can just picture those logo's being the Marquee and the rest of the art all the way down the side of the cab.

Other things that would work well maybe on the show:
Vics Arcade Repair Tips
Restoration Show Case - take a recent restoration and talk about, Strykrs Championship Sprint cab for example.

All in fab show chaps.
