Would have loved to submit a score for Mr Driller, one of my favourite series of games, but I've been busy moving house the last few weeks. Don't know what the next game is (haven't listened yet) but I hope it's a good one

Listened to the podcast earlier, great stuff

Happy to hear that Snow Bros. is the next game, me and a friend used to be able to complete it on 1 credit when we were in college, and I have the PCB too. It's definitely a lot harder with only 1 player though.

Hopefully I'll find some time to submit a score, as I've been busy with the house move. The good news is that I now have enough room for a cab (or two!).

@ Shaun do you want me to just make you an SD card you can plug in to the Pi with all MAME and GPIO pins set to play, i will tell you which GPIO pin is what control function

@Victor, your a bad influcence along with the great Bobbie Iddod whom has helped me loads on facebook chat. Since you gave me a Specky which i still havent got working just yet i have brought a Specky Hard Key (faulty but now working) a specky MB to use as parts also not working, and a Specky 128K +2B (thast all i could afford on the 128K side of it) and a DivIDE (btw that 1Bis i think is faulty as i did everything right and it wont work it causes the specky to frag out as soon as you enable it)
I also purchased a Commodore64 Breadbin and modded it for Dual Kernal, A easyflash cart, a ucasette pcb, a SD2IEC cased and a 1541 Ultimate II, oh and i brought a Commodore 16 as well

Managed to back to back listen to the last two podcasts on my commute home this week. Fantastic stuff as usual, all very natural and nothing is ever forced makes it a really enjoyable listen.

Bites! so weird you got bitten Vic, I had exactly the same thing last week up on the Norfolk broads, had no idea there were little mozzies or midges, saw a couple land on my leg and flicked them off, next day though huge dark purple things a couple of cm across had appeared, only just gone away now.

Sadly (as usual) I didn't play any of the games, I do love Mr Driller though, only just recently sold my DC version on the forums.

Great interview at the end, congrats to Jon, very interesting stuff, learned loads there that I had no idea about in the game.

To nitpick a bit, Zoo Keeper came in cab shape of the second generation Taito Cabs (with the slanted top), whereas Moon Shuttle came in the first generation cab (flat top).

Brilliant podcast this week guys and a really great choice of game. I love playing it on the Dreamcast, but it doesn't sound like I am any where near the standard of Tory... best you get that videoed and submitted Vic.

And an enthralling interview with Jon to finish... I have chatted with him many times like alot of us but it never gets boring to hear. So pleased he has finally done it and was very interested to hear that Track and Field is next on his radar... I thought it was going to be Berzerk or 1942 first. Anyway, its one of my favourites from back in the day, and remember they used to play it on a TV quiz show, First Class. I am completely average at it but look forward to tapping Jon up soon for a master class... I always wanted to be good at it but the hammer throw always lets me down.
