Yeah hopefully I can get this one sorted quite easily the rest of the cab looks quite good. The other one is going to be a lot more work as it’s pretty rough and it’s completely disassembled

You can’t change the rating (currently).
I don’t think you will be ostracized from the Electrocoin community tho for 2 stars , 1 maybe 😂
I don’t remember rating the thread a 4 … annoying rating system in place currently.

Im sure one of Arcades on the Isle of Wight had one years ago. I remember the style and the seats being rock hard under the old backside. 🤣

I am not sure I could physically lift a 33” monitor anymore !!
Lifting a 25” out of the front of a xenon can feel hernia inducing nowadays.

This is way I have kept my little supreme video 19" cab. Just about manage to tate the monitor to vertical without too much sweating and swearing.

Used to have one of these about 10 years ago. The guy who I bought it off had put a PC in it with Mame, I only paid £250, was a beast of a machine. Unfortunately ended up selling a couple of years ago, pretty sure I got about £350 for it 😁

These 2 spritely chaps turned up today at my workshop . We have tons in common - similar age (cough) bit of colour in our cheeks (sometimes) but generally in a total state of disrepair and unsure whether standing unaided is a good idea … oh and you don’t want to know about whats going on inside (you probably do and will update in next few days 😂)

So many things to love about these 2. Nearly 50 years old and while a little worse for wear in places they are awesome pieces of our arcade history. I think there's 3 or 4 Space Panics left in various conditions but this one definitely has the best control panel and art. The control panels are usually damaged, with cracks, bits missing and ciggy burns but this is lovely. It's quite an important game as it was the first platform game ever albeit without the ability for the character to jump. Amazing that that Electrocoin coins door sticker is still in such good shape too!
My memory isn't so good these days but I'm pretty I haven't seen another No Man's Land cab out there, so could be the only one? Look forward to seeing some internals of them both.

Once upon a time , Circa 1980 they would have looked Ike this.
Nice to see more of these early cabs, shame they always seem to be really neglected but same time they are still here which over shadows the condition, shame the other 2 on ebay weren't saved by someone here

Absolutely amazing they survived in any form really . They were produced at least 8 years before I played my first arcade machine so the game nostalgia is not there for me but the Electrocoin graphic design / aesthetic is of huge interest and looking at these cabinets you can see how the EC style carried on and developed into the late 80s/ 90s with marquee designs / side art.
Will do a cursory check tomorrow and report of internals. Through the brief unload yesterday space panic is in much better condition. No mans land would originally have had printed glass but has been replaced (with a decent photo this can be remade) Priority is to make sure they are stable !

It's cool that that's the exact same cab as the one in that pic off Klov!
I'll have a look for my No Man's Land flyer later to see if I can get a decent pic of the bezel art.

I thought it was mine but I don’t have silver gaffer tape on the coin door 😂
If you can find the flyer that would be great for Bezel repair one day.
