We had loads of spares for both bank Robbers and Gun Smoke, quite sure we even had a spare revolver. Would be surprised if its not original, I could reach out to the guy that bought them in Japan, he sure knows his stuff!
I actually do know another guy in Sweden that has a Bank Robbers aswell.
Anyhow, Congrats on a cool game, I am more of a videogame nerd myself.

If you could ask him about it as my Tommy gun is clearly made for it and has sounds to match so maybe they made 2 versions which would be really surprising.
Maybe he will know more he could tell us?

As for video games, yes I collect those and pinballs as well but who doesn’t love EM shooters?! They are great fun.

Ok be really interesting to know more. It’s not just how it looks the sounds of the gun are machine gun not pistol shots so if yours was pistol shots and you had a spare pistol maybe 2 different versions but it seems so scarce a game 2 versions would be really surprising. Anyway thank you and good to hear from you about it. 👍🏻
Well that looks like same gun. But sounds when you shoot definitely aren’t pistol shots. Tbh I’d never even heard or read about FBI GUN. But doing quick search it seems that’s got lots more info online than bank robbers did. Anyway no worry, still interestingly a Kasco gun.

You can see me play on the bank Robbers game we used to have in the video I posted, nevermind the Swedish rants but the sound of gun sounds allright to me. It maybe a regional thing? Bank Robbers in Japan maybe had less of an arsenal of guns than the western ones? LOL
Would be super cool if you could post a video of your game in action (Gun sounds) and maybe you could share serial number if that is still available. Bet my Japanese contact is all ears for info. Not super much info about theese games at all, I think I might have a Bank Robbers marquee still

My game isn’t playing as nice as yours in video, I think everything needs a really good clean for starters so it’s on the to do list but happy to do videos once sorted. Looking at your video again the sounds could be similar but Id still have expected single shot sounds from a revolver?! It certainly doesn’t sound out of place on mine. Interestingly FBI GUN has much more from results online, possibly they just used over stock back then but I think mine looks factory fitted. I’ve attached the model badge. Number #132. My machine is in very good condition (I don’t have those made drilled bullet holes someone did to yours)

I say in the video the serial number is #62 on bank Robbers, and our looks to play better than it did, alot of targets did not register and scoring was weird.
Gunsmoke played way better but also had a few flaws if I remember correctly.
In a way I could regret that we got rid of them but at the same time it felt like we sold them to the right buyer in Japan, they are not to be found over there anymore.
Guess it has to do with that we in the west have more barns to store away things in.

Well it arrived yesterday (Saturday) and took an absolute age from the USA to the UK. I just love these manuals and even the cover art is appealing to me.

It's a small thing, but I was wanting to pair up the game and electrocoin marquee. It's a rework of athena's but it's the proper one all the same. Thanks to _matt_ for sorting it out!

You'll have to sort out the image flip on athena, it means burning a different rom. And lots of practice too, difficult game!
Haha, Yeah I have tried it one night on stream, had to flip the yoke on the chassis. TBH I think I will rarley play this game so I am fine with that solution.
And to call the game hard is an understatement, it feels half-done and broken, the slightest touch by an enemy is instant death! But the game have some appeal to it just cant put my finger on what it is!

Finally got all the pieces together to have an m72 multi pcb. Long time coming and it's a genuine miracle I managed to pull it all off in one session. Lots of little jobs to do with the programmer later
