Just a peg board off eBay years back came with a bag of fixings for tools but I keep them elsewhere now.

This is what I could find similar:

And the exact one:

Picked this up from a random auction site from an even more random auction house in axminster, devon:

It's a little worse for wear, physically ... but I'm giving it a day or so in the warm before I start to try ... er ... stuff ... y'know ... like ... power.
But then ... who knows ... it would seem that merely by turning these things on I seem to break them. 😅

(it's a samsung monitor)

Such a neat little MVS cab, is it working?

Well, like I say, wanted it to be 'in the warm' for a day at least (as it'd been by the door of the axminster auction house for I dunno how long) ... before I turn it on. That's purely because I've had fair warning from others about CRTs and all that.

Either way, I am assuming that it is currently not working, but hoping that it is! 😏

Looks to be fully 220/240v, which is nice. Can't see a hidden transformer anywhere ... but then they do love their disguises. 🤔 😩

If I luck out with the monitor at least, then I might push that and the PSU into my (much prettier) 4-slot from neoretro. :)

Then treat this new one as more of a restorative build ... as there's a fair bit of 'touching up' that needs doing.

If the 'n' in 1 cart is working, though ... quids in.

Also ... for the price ... a good barg.

I played on one of these at arcade club, something about the szie and the green and black colour scheme really works.

it needs some tlc for sure, but it's not major - can't wait to see what happens when you fire it up for the first time.

Yeah ... I really like the form factor for ... well ... because it fits into a 'home' ... but also ... in the terms of an 'arcade space' ... one has more options with where they can go, as they can occupy spaces that would otherwise have been 'unfillable' by a 'normal' cab.
