Some comments regarding the 35 pictures Alpha1 posted. Hope you enjoy them:

of 35 these were typically given to companies who operated several of our different games . . . Arcade owners, etc.

of 35 Same as above,

of 35 is from Darl Davidson who was the customer service manager (for a while) . . . Nice Guy, knew him pretty well. For service though, I worked mostly with Fred McCord who was the service Manager and was for sure the most knowledgeable guy on “coin-op machines”. and is still a dear friend. We raised a lot of hell together . . even in Ireland!. . . You can email him and tell him I sent ya . . .Please be sure to ask him if he has the time or desire to work with you . . . I’m pretty sure he will say “sure”.

of 35 A page out of a parts catalog.

of 35 Different view of tabs in the parts catalogs

of 35 List of tester interface plugs

of 35 Repair parts list

of 35 Same as above

of 35 These were parts that we determined had the highest rate of potential for breakage, thus being a good idea to stock an extra . .

of 35 Same as above

of 35 In those days we moved some of the warehouses/storage areas/ distributor parts locations several times . . Fred McCord would know way more about that . . . .

of 35 Interesting . . this was to be just an inter office memo . . . have no idea why it would be in the stuff you got . . . notice that in this distribution list on the lower left, It was sent to Fred McCord as well as Bob(D’miles) Salmons, Elaine Shirley, and Don Osborne, Russ Mcdonald, . . .all of whom I worked with at one time or another. This was another inter-office memo, so I am surprised it was found “off site”.

of 35 . . . yet another inter office memo . . . This one has many more people I worked beside or with . . Frank Ballouz was in sales and a real crack-up, Ed Logg was an early and great! Programmer. All of these folks worked in the Sunnyvale facility, with me and I am left to seriously wonder how these memos made it into Europe???

of 35 WOW this one lists 9N) Noah Anglin, owen rubin, Tom Petit, Lyle rains and GEORGE OPPERMAN who was a dear friend and designed my first business card for me . . Opperman was responsible for most of the artwork on our games. G Lipkin was Gene Lipkin, a close friend and VP who also worked closely with Nolan Bushnell, Steve Bristow and and Me.

of 35 Our sketch pads for game ideas

of 35 No idea without seeing the documents

of 35 Code notes

of 35 Vector graphics schematic . . . Don’t know for what game but Fred McCord might know.

of 35 OFFICE COPY ( holy cow) Sprint 2 testing procedure . . again Fred McCord question , but I don’t think this was supposed to be an open document for distribution . . .

of 35 WOW . . . . This was from Gil Williams, and addressed to John Hogan at Tipperray plant ( john later came to the states and worked for my company for a while then went back to Tipp) It was also addressed to Francis Murphy and Kevin Hayes . Kevin was manager of final assembly plant in Tipp. I knew him well . . . he went on to work for an Atari competitor . .

of 35 same as above

of 35 This is a harness parts list drawn up by Carol Branham and signed off by a short lived Mfg Engr named Eli Shachal .

of 35 Monitor shelf Drawn by Barney Huang and signed off Lyle Rains who was the Project Engineer . . . I knew both of them . .

of 35 just an instruction sheet for mounting a back light

of 35 Coin-op instructions from Eli Shachal re installation of Shifter module detent . . . no big thing . . . . .

of 35 More of the same like #25

of 35 Nothing here . . . just instructions for a shipping pallet . . signed off bt Ed Logg . . . one of our early programmers/engineers

of 35 I knew one of the “attention to” people, Mike Jang . . nice guy . . not sure of the sender .

of 35 This may have been only distributed in Ireland . . .I don’t know these “players”

of 35 Appears to be internal Ireland memo . . . don’t recognize them . .

of 35 No idea

of 35 Memo t Ed Logg . . to send parts to a show location . .

of 35 No idea

of 35 No idea . . probably done after I left . .

of 35 Looks like a list of PCB parts used on the Gremlin game PCB . . . .

All in all, these documents brought back lots of Mammaries . . . No wait . . . I meant Memories!

Did we find where the Atari manuals went?

There was supposed to be racks and racks of documents, but all we found was half a drawer full.

No idea where the rest went, I suspect into the oblivion.

I've been making a few enquiries, and have an idea of who might know where the stuff is, or where its been (particularly the Galaxian Theater). However I'm pretty sure they are unlikely to tell me, and that's the issue

Are you trying to say you know someone who knows where things are?
