Not only was the guy a twat, he was dressed like one too

I was playing 18 wheeler when he was watching some guy play outrun, droning on about how great he was at it and stated that he always set the high score on outrun at event such as this.
Upon hearing this, I thought:

Did anyone have a go on the Fix It Felix cab running on arcade hardware? How did it play?

I'm hoping that Jim will release the code so I can convert a Euroleague PCB if possible - I'm assuming that should work as it is a clone of World Cup 90

I'm home now had a top weekend and was great to meet some new faces.

I think the Arcades were the hit of the show, the room was always packed even when the console areas were pretty empty.

A great group effort guys !

Highlight for me was the very competetive Speed Race high score between us all, think I was knocked down to 5th by the end of the day.

The fix it Felixstowe was real nice but was actually running on the PC version for the show.
I had a chat with Jim who said the WC90 version wasn't quite ready in time but he WILL be releasing the ROM's for it when it's ready.

I got back about 8 so less than 2 hours to get back 120 miles which is not bad for a Sunday night no stopping all the way.

Had a great day on saturday, good to meet plenty of the VAC crew

Game highlight was defo Speed Race, never played it before but it was very good and had a great competitive edge with the scoring.

Quantam was interesting, by the time I was going back for more, it had failed (at a guess) and was turned off.

Good turn out, good news that it was busier today.

Great weekend. Thanks to everyone for coming and for everyone who put all the effort in, especially Rav, Oll and Phil, though it's a little unfair singling those guys out since I know there were plenty of others too, including the Scottish contingent. Minus points there though for leaving the venue screaming Jamma+ rules at the top of their lungs

Got back about 9 but we did do Pizza Hut on the way back!

My Quatum failed on day one

.but it did get some serious use before it popped the deflection pcb!

ill be looking at this tomorrow,ill have more parts/spares next time.

It was an awesome weekend! was geat to meet the rest of the crew too

such a freindly bunch,had some reall laughs,my son was welcomed in the group too,he was very happy to be part of it

Sounds like i missed a lot of members too, sorry i was around some were.

My Highlight had to be meeting Archer Mclean,was almost stuck for words

guy was brilliant....
