I've been battling with this monitor in my Space Invaders Deluxe Midway cabinet.
When I turn the machine on, the sync is out. If I dial the horizontal sync up to get the picture back, it comes on perfect, but then the picture is too high (looking from P1 view) I turn it back down and the picture is lovely and centred.
When I power the machine down and back on, I get the same thing again. I have replaced the 25k ohm pot, thinking that was out of spec, but no difference. The resisitor tied to the unused pot leg was originally soldered the the chassis frame. leaving this off or attached makes no difference, so I've soldered like original.
I have the 4 caps to replace the filter can, but haven't been brave enough to do this (yet)
I do have an idea of leaving the picture high and shifting the yoke around - is that the trick?
Also, if the picture is centred and I play a 2 player game, the 2nd player picture is out of sync.
GAAAHH!!!
