Didn’t wake up this morning knowing I would be offered a lorry full of cabs ! Sort of.

Don’t like jinxing things but

So a lorry with fruit machines
PA systems
A popeye pinball & Some arcades
Star Wars cockpit
Tron upright
Goliath
Chase HQ

Lorry been closed for 15 years .
has been shown to me today completely out of the blue.

Pin table not good condition
The games look not to bad at first sight .
I will find out in a day or two weather I get a chance to buy

not going to get my hopes up
But yeh …. Funny how some
Days just throw up stuff like this hey ?

Lorry???? with that number of machines will possibly be large enough to have AIR BRAKES you will need get engine running to get air up to release brakes or it’s staying put? If it hasn’t run in ages take a good jump start battery unit jumper and 17mm spanner in case the diesel needs bleeding?

My day not so good…. our new tumble drier arrived from ‘ao’ only for the vent to not line up withe the hole in conservatory wall so sweated over masonry drill and chisel to drop pipe by over half its hole height and recement! ……

A scrap lorry by weight is worth £400-500 unless it has a glassonite body .. scrappiest not so keen on them sort.

One ‘yard’ mobile home depot near me lives Ashley Shaw used to own Oasis arcade Rhyl and Charles Swift who ran Vernes Rhyl there’s a few lorries never moved for years no idea what could be in them???

Love hearing about finds like this. Reminds me of vintage toy finds in someone's attic or in a disused toy shop. Hopefully the deal goes through and you get to put up some nice pics. I'd bloody carry the lorry home on my back! 😄

Depends on price.
It'll be a lot of work sorting through what you want to keep vs how much you'll get for stuff you don't want and whether you can shift it.
Then there's the condition of the machines which is another question. Try and get a better look at them if I were you. The less you see the more the price should be negotiated down. I'd go off a price per machine and keep it low.
Whenever I've bought a machine I've either gone to see it / someone I trust has seen it for me or had very good pics of it.
How many projects do you have already on the go and how many will you have if you buy this lot?
The initial excitement is great but once reality sets in it can be a lot to deal with.
This may sound cynical but this stuff has been sat around in a truck for 15 years and there is a strong possibility they weren't in great condition when they went in the truck 15 years ago.
Whatever decision you go with I hope it works out well for you.

Terminator 2 cab on ebay Local currently in the small pedestal type cab but no space and price is crazy too but it's cool to see one of them as they are quite hard to find now
