Had a good read, makes good sense to me, I like the way you have adapted from just the green and a resistor and gone ten steps further with it.
Had a real busy weekend need 10 mins out of real life to buy a few switches, I had a look and I only have two left.
But in doing this you now have made me want to build a case for my whole indoor test rig.
Your instructions are bonza and just what I needed thank you so much, I'm thinking it's time to get a box (old fireproof paperwork box) drill some holes, use a nice new jamma harness I have and add everything I could ever need into a test rig, inc voltmeter, must have test switches etc...
Give me a few days I'll knock something together and report back with this board and ask a few questions on where to probe and why.
Lastly your banana socket...what goes into there a probe lead like on a multimeter?
Does your resistor live inside your test box or do you probe with the end of the resistor itself?
Maybe silly question to you but in Paul Maddern's (Pobster) guide he users the end of the resistor as the probe just wondered if yours is the same or are you using a scope lead.
(Which remember I haven't got yet)
Was Pobster at either of Rav's two last meets? I saw lots of faces but only just getting to know everyone.
Cheers "as always" for your help Timbo.
