Bombjack - Charity Competition

It's one of those 60 -1 icade boards,it came with the wee leisure 2000 cab I got the other week.
It doesn't seem to save hi scores when switched off on some games and some games don't even let you put initials in but saves high scores go figure.

Seen the same behaviour @Pharo, scores save initials don't, sounds are chronic but sadly it's all I have to use ATM so it'll do... as will my score that will remain undisclosed based on the heavy hitters in this thread 🤣

Damn, I need to get to Arcade Club. I've always got my best scores on that Bomb Jack and never been able to replicate at home.
Maybe the beer is better in Bury.

That's just your mind telling you, When my brother bought Megadrives in 90s he got a different gamepad with one, forget what it said on it but I assumed it was going to improve your game like the buttons responded better or something daft, I did better on the fighting games when I used that pad, few years later i found it wasn't any different to standard one but because it had convinced my mind this pad was better I played better, if only I could do that all the time I might actually be able to compete with you guys

I cannot find my mojo. Never played with these dips before and the UFOs in screen 5 rip me to bits.

2 weeks to go though, so all to play for. Can't even get onto my high score table to post a score.

Need to up my game. Still love it though.

Irritatingly I've had an eye busting migraine since I picked the board up so haven't even powered it on yet 😭

I’ve put some time on it the last few nights but have plateaued at about 800k. The trouble is the temptation to point press leads to silly deaths. It’s just too hard to resist mopping up every available point.
