So like most households, i have Netflix/Amazon/Disney but am at a total loss as to what to watch these days, an overkill of superhero stuff has left me not wanting to watch things like The Boys and all of the Marvel movies/shows

Anyone got anything interesting they are watching lately?

Arnie Docuseries on NF - a really open insight into the man behind the muscle (I should write tag lines!!!).
Only Murders in the Building on D+ - not entirely sure why, but we really like this.
PokerFace on Sky - modern day Columbo, what's not to like.

We had some laughs watching these. I swear I find it hard to get any entertainment out of modern television or cinema, cant even think of anything recent.

I've nearly run out of stuff to watch other than anime which I need to be in the right mood for.

Current viewing is some guy attempting to disprove the scientists that human civilisation occurred far earlier than they say. I like it!

Whats that ??

How did our ancestors paint pictures of dinosaurs if we never saw them !

I watch a lot on aliens / paranormal. Some good stuff out there. One thing that gets me is how crap some youtube videos are , talk about clutching at straws ! When they need a big arrow highlighting the 'paranormal event' its guff.

Snowfall is brilliant!! (I think it’s on Disney)
Also it gets better and better every season (6 in total) not sure why this series hasn’t been more loved - maybe the title.

Also Banshee is excellent. (Another no one seems to know) and my last brilliant hidden gem pick - Barry!!

All of these tv shows are excellent. And fully complete so no more coming.

I'd recommend Halt and Catch Fire on Amazon, Platonic or Foundation on Apple TV.

If you are interested in true crime, Netflix does have some surprisingly good documentries about the Yorkshire ripper and the night stalker investigations. Both have high production values and mostly use stock footage, so it's not just talking heads. Netflix also has a very good anime series called Love, Death and Robots - it can be a bit hit and miss but overall it's excellent.

Black Mirror is excellent, Stanger things as well..
