I'm not entirely sure what your issue is but if you don't want it collected you can just remove the collection from your basket when you check out. It is a bit annoying that it's added by default though, they must be doing it to push the service.

It was chargeable at one point but it's been free for ages now. It is handy when you do want something collected. Otherwise if it's something I just want to drop in the post box I remove the collection at checkout.

Issue is I don't want to pay online, have collected just wanna be able to take to post office, pay reasonable price and it's done, don't like being railroaded down a one way track to everything is online or being forced that way due to cost to force you that way, so they give you a choice by not giving you a choice, I either don't sell DVD's or Bluray's because I can't post cheap enough to compete with Music Magpie, World Of Books that dominate or go the route everyone else goes and pay online

The banks all closing because they say only a few customers use it for all transactions, they create all the online and app based banking so they can close the banks, when they are closing suddenly people start to wake up and complain and want to keep the bank open when it's too late because they have all acquiesced due to not seeing the bigger picture years before

Anyway another 2 Blurays not arrived, both supposed to be sent tracked but no tracking on ebay, didnt expect to get one winning it for £1.70
suspect rather than getting a tracking number i'll just get a refund

£3.90 to send a ps4 game by 2nd class signed for at the post office. Crazy. £2.70 if I buy online and print off the label (I only have a printer at work to use)

Last time I used it they print the label for you for free and bring it with them when they collect, and was cheaper than both the PO and EVRI and I didn't even need to leave the house.

These services are only suitable if you are at home all day/work from home.

I'm not at home during the day or weekends for long periods and so the convenience of just going to the post office at lunch time or after work is when I can send my stuff out. At work I can print the tracked 48 labels and benefit from the cheaper price but why not offer the same service at the post office? Makes no sense...

I am postie, i also do ebay... post office split with RM was a bad thing, now PO is offering alternative services... lets not forget the board at RM considers Post out dated which includes Large Letter format.. without the USO (which is failing a lot ) the postman will vanish in society... it just be a parcel delivery company... so far union protected that from happning and Simon Thompson resigning... the 'Tracked' services is split, its basically a courier style service runnning from a hand ful of depos, I am on this service... howevee rule of thumb for mee is to send Large Letter for non valuable items, i still use traditional 2nd class parcels witht printed label and post into the box, this will be delivered by postman... so if u send a gameboard, send it special delivery and tracked if u need to find it lol...

Buy postage online, use the QR code emailed to you at the post office and they print the label for you. Easy.

Does this work for large letter, tracked 48? Cheers.
I believe it does, it's something they've recently introduced, where before the service was only available at the sorting/delivery office.

I am selling 2024 calendars and will be relying on the large letter 2nd class and tracked 48 service to send these without printing my own postage labels.

Tried this today for both tracked 48 large letter and small parcel. Showed QR code and they printed labels. Happy days. Thanks for the heads up 👍🏆

Obviously but that doesn't help close down the post office, it's kept the post office going for years as before ebay I never hardly used it, since ebay I've used the post office tons keeping people in a job probably, the alternative to selling online before was local paper ads, now there are more free ads and online versions than before so not hurt that either, selling any other way is jokers like Music Magpie and you might as well bin them than sell to those outfits

Soon you won't have to leave your house for anything which will make Bill Gates and Klaus Schlob very happy indeed:LOL:

So update on these, asked both for tracking numbers, surprise I got reply from both but didn't answer my question for tracking number even though both say tracked, I believe guy with the 2 and probably just gone awol, the other due to price I didn't believe he would even post them, straight away sorry about that I'll refund you the £1.70 and soon as he'd done that and case closed he relisted the same bluray starting at 99p this time £1.26p postage instead of free, I said why don't you just post this one to me as you have it, obviously you didn't get the right price so never send it, his reply I have just had it returned to me by royal mail :ROFLMAO: what a load of BS

So my work mate, messaged him about it and offered him the £1.70 he sold it for last time, but he wants £5 for it now, but it's not about the money though😁

Because ebay turned Woke like everything else now you can't leave feedback to shame these sellers, Badmovieking... Badebayking more like

I said when I won it, I know this won't be posted and would of been happier if I'd won it for £4 or 5 as at least then I would get it, if the clown had listed on buy now for £6 or 7 I would of bought it

after being left a "something for you" card by royal mail today,I drove to the sorting office to collect it,only to be told it's not there as it is loaded on a van for a 2nd delivery attempt tommorow,I said but I can collect it now, only to be told that option no longer exists, they have to try and deliver it twice before you can collect from the sorting office.WTF
