As previously seen in the thread ‘Full disclosure - this has been left outside” .. FFS !!!Hi All ,
I have collected and enjoyed all things Electrocoin for nearly a decade from their cabinets to Marquees. Undoubtedly for me the ‘Xenon’ is my nostalgia cabinet which was often sited at service stations and snooker halls when I was a teenager.
Just after Covid I picked up 4 xenon’s from a snooker hall just ouitside Manchester - one was fully working and after a deep clean would later become my Aliens cabinet.

It came with a 2 slot neo geo and shock troopers and was cheap. The other 2 Xenon cabinets were by products of the purchase and thrown in as while both structurally healthy enough to restore they had Multiple missing pieces and had suffered site damage and attempts on the coin doors.
Fast Forward to September 2024 and on the 2nd time of asking on Ebay I feared this latest Xenon Cabinet was days away from being pushed into a skip.
I had an extremely low expectation for buying this cabinet (Not a feeling I normally like when about to pay for something !). Ultimately if the original glass was in decent shape and some of the parts got distributed to other forum members in need to complete their cabinet then that was a success.
Very Tired Electrocoin Xenon Arcade Cabinet - 99p start - collection only | eBay
This is an Electrocoin Xenon Jamma Cabinet. Full disclosure this has been left outside (although partially covered) for several years and is very tired.
www.ebay.co.uk

I was aware the cabinet needed to be moved urgently and my time to receive was limited so went the Shiply courier route. The company luckily sent a 2 man team who were sensitive to dealing with a sodden arcade machine. I downgraded my initial expectations of the buy even further when upon arrival the courier called to express doubt that the cabinet could actually be moved without total collapse as a back part of the right wing was lost when the tarpaulin was lifted off!
Careful Maneuvering by the guys however and it was ratchet strapped up in the van.
Parts required for completion of Existing Electrocoin Cabinets
- Xenon glass ( Been looking for a replacement piece for at least 2 years) The glass is smoked with a nice Screen printed border and Electrocoin logo and play details. I think Electrocoin got a lot right with their cabinet branding and detailing plus there marquees.
- 25” monitor MTC9100
- Monitor frame and rotate mech
- Coin door
Ideas for remaining parts -
1. Top marquee holder - interest shown by forum member
2.Careful removal of art and where possible scanned for preservation. More to follow on this
3. Spares for future project / Forum members
4. Majority Tip !
More to follow but this was its last unaided moment of standing between the couriers taking their ratchet straps and me getting as many quick clamps and support on it as possible !
Seconds counted !
