It should have come with a SD card setup ready to use with the correct VID and PIDs for the controls if using the onboard USB interface, likely you may need to add the update all script to it to pull down all the updated cores and roms, but might be fully loaded. Not tried mine yet to see what is on the SD card.

There will be dip switches on the board that will need to set to the options you want to use, there isnt much documentation on this though, but they are for switching controls between Jamma/JVS on USB and video output on VGA or fingerboard, etc.

I’m really keen to see how this works. I could do with another setup and the Mistercade is the best part of £400 delivered these days!

But yes, this is why I suggested not copying my card, my VID and PIDs and resolutions are not what you need.

Definitely add the update all script, run that and it’ll get you all the classic arcades. Subscribe to Jotego’s Patreon to play his latest beta cores.

Feel free to come grab all my console roms when you’ve sorted the initial setup.

I wrote the image to the sd card last night
I guess it worked as windows no longer sees he card ( Linux)

I only have US power supply or just put the jamma adaptor on and use that in a cab power it up there and run a hdmi out to an lcd to configure and run updat script

Where on the wiki do I find the update script?
And do I just move it to the sd card ?
Then run it when I’m connected to Wi-Fi ?

Don’t use JAMMA power and external power at the same time!

Download the update all.sh here and put it in your scripts folder.

You can ssh into the mister from your PC over WiFi to save having to take the card out.

Or you can plug into a monitor or your arcade game to run the script there, but you’ll have to get the file on first. On the mister just go to scripts then update all.

Follow the config by changing the .ini file to your setup needs.

The wiki is pretty good and there are guides for using putty to ssh.

The adapter should have come with a cable that you plug into the adapter and then into the Mister to power it, thats only going to work with the DE10 and not Taki Udons board as he switched to a USB-C power input.

I need to wait for my wifi driverless dongal . To come in post ..

Got my heat sink and
Noctua fan ..
So want to power it up now ..
I do have a 240-110v step down
But I’m to nervous to do it in case it lets me down..

What uk power supply do people use ?
Should my primary sd card folders only be accessed in a linux environment ?

Or is it after I have ran the image that the file sytem becomes viewable in windows ?

You’ll need to select something like download arcade offset or download ROMs in the update all menu.

I linked to it above but your link will work too.

It should take 5v not 120 / 240v!
