So what other things do you all do hobby wise apart from Arcade Stuff's ??

I am very boring and when I can I do some Model Railway stuff , Been hoping to do a setup for years now. I have just started modelling (Not me personably ! lol). Just started to try and master painting and weathering. I am enjoying it though as does not take too much effort.

That's cool, must be quite satisfying once they are painted.

that not boring at all, that is awesome, i used to be an avid boardgamer and started painting models but quickly found out that i and never will be an artist or good at it

i have 7 dogs, i dont know if that counts as a hobby or utter lunacy, i'll let you pick which one

i also collect and play a LOT of video games and consoles/computers

oh, and LEGO, i have a fair amount of LEGO as well, some of which isnt built because i sort of ran out of space

Lego for me, although to save money I get unbranded sets from AliExpress, same thing but a fifth of the price!
Also go fishing but since I retired earlier this year I seem to spend most of my time either doing diy or walking our two lurchers. Haven’t played a video game this year I don’t think…

may i ask what LEGO, i started with the cars and have a LOT of the champions ones, i also have all of the mid range vehicles(camaro etc) and the F1 car, have them mounted in my game room on the wall

i then went down the murky path of collecting modulars, i have about 8 of them but 4 arent built yet, they cost a pretty penny and i havent decided whether i am keeping them or not yet as not only do they take up a lot of space, they are HEAVY

i also have a bunch of Star Wars sets to build that are christmas presents for this year

i also bought all my wife all of the flower sets, they are all over the front room and look fantastic

My dad used to have big model railway setup in loft when we were kids but when they moved house the loft now is no use, he built his own live steam engine when he was younger having trained as engineer and had track down the garden to ride on, so I got him Microsoft Railway Simulator and sorted him PC years ago and he's enjoyed those ever since, keep upgrading to later ones, always quite liked Railways having been taken places with me dad to see Steam Engines but too many other things take up my time

Hi-FI/Ghetto Blasters must be another of mine as I have loads of them all over the house

Cars a bit too, not absolute nuts like some but I just really like old stuff and old cars are great, so simple to repair but not best hobby to have when no garage

For me it's music stuff. Play guitar a lot, repair old knackerd guitars, occasionally write/record crap songs, etc. Recently completed a herd thinning process where I got rid of a lot of guitars (donated to my kids school) and only kept a couple for sentimental reasons. Have started to only buy quality guitars after years of having to play cheap tat ones. So far that means I have a nice US Tele and a new ebony SG.

Would love to get back into cars but don't really have the time or space. Would love an old 80's mini or something similar to tinker with again.

Playing guitar and going to gigs are my current other hobbies.

I’ve seen Snayx and Skindred in the few weeks and am off to Brixton on Thursday to see Bob Vylan . Have Elvana, Idles and the Lambrini Girls later this month.

Here is my favourite guitar and amp:

I sold my amp and head unit, but kept my Gibson (iced tea LP).

Still have a little Marshall practice amp, but the guitar hasn't left it's case in over 17 years... (the age of my eldest)...

The model side of this really appeals, but the size/space required doesn't...

Then I found this on the Tube of You..

I may have mentioned my hoarding habit of all things colourful in a similar topic some time ago?

I have loads of vinyl 7” from both our jukebox supply era and my DJ special collection from back in the 70s / 80s mobile disco some rare too like “the stripper” often went well at stag or hen night parties!!!

Also supplying hideaway jukes in pub cellars I used to pick up the beer branded plastic barrel caps and having removed the magnets from the s10 2p mechs when they went steel based from copper in 1994. , these got hot melted on and became 3” fridge magnets … I have about 50 decorate our ceiling iron beams in the dining room.

Like bods said the whole house gets infected . Amusement stuff is colourful so we have some framed pinball back glasses.
Even outside the gate from the workshop to the drive is covered with marquess and other panels etc.

I like Gerry Anderson artefacts and have lots of items favourites being my family album pictures (my 5 brothers girlfriend Penelope and electronics mate brains) 😂

But my passion has been corgi 1:64 superhauler trucks which about 100 adorn the pelmets over both lounge windows and shelves in each 6ft alcove to the sides of the chimney. 2 of them are unique one offs so rare, our own business and the cafe opposite our wales depot. Special code 3 made by a late friend in colwyn bay..A few sample pictures follow just a fraction of the stuff I hoard.

Even the book shelf in the dining room is full with electronics and antiques books, l ado have a small rack of matchbox scale trucks above my computer area

I often say every flat surface off the floor is sacred in this house but gets as much stuff piled on till it’s too high to maintain stability!

We try not to let too much arcade into the house but two jukes in the lounge a ‘71
Wurlitzer Zodiac vinyl and a SL cd Tudor and a 9 cup all win do exist there.

If it’s colourful and interesting enough it’s here I too have a Hornby train layout but it’s been at back of wife’s wardrobe for about 25 years or more I only had daughters but now have 5 grandsons who may like it when they realise it is there 4 are teenage so taking note of what we have here? £££££ s probably for after we pop our clogs ? 🥲 !

When I'm not trying to master time pilot or choplifter or whatever, I'm playing piano, composing music, or playing snooker. Odd combination I know lol.
Love a bit of snooker. Im no good but love it! Got a 44 about 10 years ago and missed a dead straight pink into the corner for a half century. Still wake up sweating in the night over it.
