watching Last Man on Earth again, i've never finished it, struggling to remember a more cringey character since Michael from The Office, great watch though

so, i watched a film this morning before work, It's Whats Inside

Highly recommended but you need to be good with names and concentrate otherwise the ending will make no sense, i really really enjoyed it

Science fiction comedy horror - I'm in, will add it to the list cheers @kingtreelo.

Been slow with the TV at the moment, been watching the occasional Only Murders In The Building which is fluff, but great fun to whack on of a night

i think its more of a thriller type thing, i find films hard to classify these days, i didnt think there was a lot that was funny in it TBH, maybe black humour

so, bringing this back to the top

recently got a firestick(please, lets not discuss that, its a slippery slope) and have been watching a series called "From"

really really enjoying it and have just got to the end of season 2, so one more to go, my gut feeling though is telling me this is going down the LOST route and may just end with a very poor ending as they have managed to bring so many different things to it so far, no spoilers please

also got The Rookie on as a favourite, that is next up, heard that is very good as well, so more recommendations welcome

@kingtreelo not getting much of a chance to watch anything at the moment but A Thousand Blows is turning out to be pretty good. I'm a sucker for anything with Stephen Graham in though, top bloke (.... having read that again I'm waiting for the inevitable jokes here 😂) think that's on prime.

Star Trek Discovery (which was on prime but moved I think) is a great series as well, if you've ever thought Star Trek was 'alright' you'll probably enjoy it.

Enjoyed Midnight Mass too, if you're into anything akin to Stephen Kings stuff. The redo of Fall of the house of usher was great fun too, along similar lines.

cheers, ill take a look at a thousand blows, i generally like Grahams work, i didnt think Adolescence was anywhere near as good as people are saying, i guess it was a big eye opener for a lot of people for people who frequent the internet, its pretty common to see the likes of Tate and such try and influence youngsters, there are also females out there with the same agenda, you just need to speak to your kids and not let the internet parent them

*rant over

King is a bit of a mixed bag for me, i generally find that up to about the 80% mark of his storied everything is fantastic, then all of a sudden something alien or a giant rat or something daft ruins the whole story for me, i love his books but he seems to just go totally off tangent near the end of nearly everything he writes

Star Trek isnt for me, im pretty sci-fi burnt out and comic book burnt out now so am avoiding them as much as possible

Watching Luke Cage. Pretty good so far.

Daredevil series and current one has been good.

But if you're comic book burnt out, then maybe try Dopesick. That was a good watch. And Salem. All Disney+

There are so many amazing, high brow series one can watch to expand the mind, and facilitate a greater understanding of the universe.

- Cruise ship killers
- Accident / Suicide / Murder
- Can't Pay? We'll take it away!
- Cops with cameras.

well you are in luck Stokers, 2 more weeks until i hit the M6 toll road, if there are any cops on there they are going to need a bloody quick motor to catch me, i "may" share my dashcam footage

on a side note, for some reason i have never watched The Traitors, until 2 weeks ago, i am right near the end of season 3 now, i normally hate reality TV shows the ilk, but it is absolutely golden, my wife wasnt watching it until this week, she is now completely hooked, first 2 seasons are much better than the first, people are playing the game a lot more now...and badly at that

£1.99 Disney Plus. Cant go wrong. Saves paying £15 for each Blu-ray movie I want to watch
this is a good shout, i actually started buying Blu-Rays when they were on streaming services, i am up to a few hundred now and as soon as they leave streaming, the physical price shoots from about £7 to £15, grab them while they are on streaming stuff, if you dont, they will charge you about £6 and you only have 48 hours to watch it(another absolute scam)

also preparing for the eventual doomsday scenario of the internet going off, its going to happen at some point

Quite a lot of the new disney stuff is not available to buy physically, and some new releases are only worth watching once imo.

I love my physical stuff, but pick most of them from charity shops these days (some shown here, excuse the 90s wallpaper lol)
