So for years and years i have always banged on about the Xbox having far superior controllers than the Playstation, and only recently with the release of the PS5 have they even got near the Xbox, i still prefer the Xbox due to the stick layout, but that is just my preference, i think the controllers are now on par with each other

I've never really bought into the whole Elite and Pro controllers, and i reckon i have around 10-20 Xbox controllers from the Xbox One onwards, all different colours and limited editions...but just last week..my life changed

So i grabbed a new game and lightly asked on the discord what controllers everyone was using, as isd a racing game, and an RC one at that, it was more aimeds at me looking to get an RC controller

Someone happened to mention a Flydigi controller, so off i went, down the rabbit hole and i am now a proud owner of by a country mile the best controller i have ever used, and it was cheaper than both an Xbox and PS5 controller

I grabbed the flydigi vader 4 pro off ebay, and trust me when i say, make this your next controller purchase if you are looking for a PC, mobile or Switch controller, it is absolutely ridiculous

4 of the face buttons are all mechanical, the sticks are in theory hall effect and have tension rings around them so you can adjust them, the triggers you can lock into place so they become buttons essentially, great for games where you dont need a trigger(Silksong, please stand up) and there are 4 "paddle" buttons on the back

My son tells me that some of the elite controllers have some of these features, but he even he admitted the quality of this one was far better than anything he had used

I have an Elite v2 and it’s by far the best controller I’ve used.
That does look interesting so I’ll have a watch later.

the Vader 4 Pro i picked up for just under 50 quid off ebay, the other models(Apex) are north of £90 but offer different paddles and such, which i wasnt really after

I would highly recommend the Vader 4 though, just a ridiculous controller for the price, i did a lot of research on them before i bought it, look at a comparison video first, the mechanical buttons are just so satisfying. You can also turn the lighting off(i have), i also bought a dock which isnt required, i wont be buying anymore Microsoft controllers, i know that much

i think the guy in the video compares it to an Elite controller, or certainly one of the more expensive xbox controllers
