That's awesome, I didn't read it properly. So thats nice to confirm it was just painted as what was left underneath the CP

Glad I could reunite the manual with the cab :) no other place for it really

What about the coin entry compared to the Flyer, you thought about changing that or do you think that is the original one? I know they could have changed it, I swap all my cabs to the Red Coin Controls type as my memories of the local arcades are the coin doors lit up Red which looks great in the typical dark arcades I was in :giggle:

Oh wow, so they did choose to sell these control panels with just hammerite point and even talked it up as a selling paint over a control panel overlay.

I hate predictive text when it puts in a totally inappropriate word but when it gets two similar words completely swapped it’s something else …….! “Point & paint “ quite funny … you couldn’t type that deliberately!
🤣🤣🤣

I think it is the original coin entry - electrocoin credit board. In fact I think everything in the cabinet is original except for the monitor bezel as after reading the manual it confirmed what I originally thought that the monitor can be rotated and Bezel would be card with the folded sides and top rather than plastic as doesn’t work vertically. I will either find one or make it from a template I have.
I thought the wiring had been adapted but is original and has in fact the additional 2 buttons needed for Neo geo as it describes in the manual.
Also talks about the psu being an alternative to Hantarex 250 but no mention of monitor brand used - the one in the cabinet is a kortek which looks like it has only had light use.
Hopefully more info will be found out about the cabinet but for now this manual is fantastic !

That's great that the wiring is original too. I must admit I rarely read manuals but this one gives some nice information on a cab that had very little.

The information is quite sparse in the manual and mainly relates to the wiring and credit board. That said all the basic info is there including a step by step monitor rotation guide.
No mention of unigame in the midi manual but perhaps a separate manual would have been issued to cover that ?

The plastic monitor surround shouts Atari System 1 or 2 with me
looking at the flyer of cab I think its probably the standard flat thick card same as Centi and Goliath so it can be turned around with screen

Just looking at Sentinel coin entry and it goes through the metal from behind the same, the hole would need to be more square for the flyer type, I would have to cut out a new panel for myself lol to fit that type in but they must have made different panels depending which mech was installed so yes that must be the original in that cab :)

The coin mech is very tight in and has a release catch for the metal entry panel on right. These are the pre restoration photos .
