Well everyone, it looks like I've got the disc! It's been a fairly interesting 5-year goose chase, and I am grateful for all of your help and interest in preserving this now 42-year-old game machine that probably plays like garbage anyways. I'm planning to eventually get it over to the MAME developers (Daphne seems to have been abandoned for quite awhile now) so the game can be playable to all. Until then, I suppose my use of this site has reached its end. Thanks again!

I'd be interested in being kept up to date with the dump of the disc if you would be so kind.

I've been having a hard time getting in contact with anyone who would know how to dump the disc for MAME usage. It is in my possession, though.

All we seem to have of Top Gear are those 2 clips from Facebook that I mirrored on YouTube, although more footage is likely to exist elsewhere. I remember asking OP if he had the rest, but he never got back.

Any way of running an offline laptop based Domesday emulator? Have the real thing but it's a pain to lug around and kind of delicate.

I have the RF captures from the disks, but wouldn't it be nice to be able to use them...
