You will probably have more luck getting yours repaired rather than finding another one.

Good luck with it. Love those cabs.
Cheera fella. Yeah is what i do. Was just hoping someone had 1 kicking about.
Is fine i may just use a slim piece of nice plastic with a new button layout :)

Lovely cab, I have the same design as that, mines missing the artwork on the inner sides of the cab. Any chance you could scan those, I don't think anyones scanned those from what I'm aware of.
I fou d them under plain black cardboard tacked over them.
Seam to be fireworks but feel more like flowers lol

Zaccaria had beautiful artwork on bigger 80s cabs and their pinballs too from the mid 70s tho I still have a couple of mini Zaccs plain woody sides but still attractive.

A shame the CP has been butchered with alternative holes but I imagine some spares must be lurking in collections somewhere??

This is Zacc MGVS multi game video system … earlier zaccs were often dedicated fixed title

These were very popular interchangeable marquee header inserts and the buttons could be over-written with circular yellow stickers printed run, jump, fire, bomb, to make control panels more adaptable.

Some were rear access but front access ones also came popular too but because the whole lower front opened , internal cash boxes were very vulnerable on hire sites unless ugly ‘ iron motorway security bars ‘ were fitted with big padlocks on…

The ones with a good metal boxed cash box were ok …. After use I salvaged a couple of those boxes to be used as home wall safes (upcycling back then) for friends to keep passports/cash etc .

They also got monitor upgrades from the older zaccaria ones with Phillips/Redifusion modified TV chassis sets identifiable by the big square hole in the middle which the tube neck card poked through, but in fairness those chassis did hinge down and had numerous plug in mini pcb boards for different areas of control and the previous tuning section was removed., quite lively with damp sparking if they were left on a van for a night or two between sites….

I loved them too and they adapted to jamma quite easy mid 80s

Man thats awesome info cheers.
This thing has been mutilated and had an old pentium 2 pc strapped to the wall inside.

I will try and cover the damage on the control deck and i stall 1 of my pc with my custom Front end. Maybe even do some digital art to add a bit extra.

Do you recall how this model would have been wired from factory?

Saw a lot when servicing motorway rest area arcade zones for associated leisure back then they had a large number sited, ( I did an hour or two at Knutsford & Sandbach M6 a few times a week on demand as a freelance amusement engineer) and owned several myself but they were usually pre-owned.

Think if I recall those with the zaccaria coin doors (s10 mechs) were more often factory wired to suit the game fitted from new? But the later ones with a Mars multi mech on the coin door were I am sure wired for jamma as I seem to recall just swapping pcbs in a few of them, bit awkward doing title change marquee but games were just swap by then …

In 40 years I would think lots that may have survived will have been altered as necessary by various operator owners prior to them being considered as collectible?

Sorry, I meant the harness :) - I have one that I need to figure out how it would have been wired so I can get it to JAMMA standard without re-wiring it all (as the wiring looks really good). Of course what you mentioned above is most likely true for my cab as well (The operators over the years could have changed things, but if they did, they did a neat job).

Early versions wouldnt have been jamma compatible. From the left over wiring in this 1 it it looks 1 to 1. With custom wiring per game. Ive stripped it all out now

They were still a mix of left/right button and some were 4/8 way joystick if I recall … as with electrocoin 28way universal loom wiring which was not jamma and various games being 18/22/28 way edge connectors then sadly it’s a case of just getting you eyes and a multimeter to identify the loom harness from monitor/CP/ power supply and triple entry coin switches and coin counter if fitted and fit a 28 way jamma edge connector ….

But you still need adapters which were common in the 80s (I have a basket full here) to use Sega system 16 games on a 28to28 adapter and other non jamma pcbs. It’s just a hazard of the hobby…. and if they have had well engineered alteration even original manuals won’t help sadly ….. it’s time and patience…

I think ??? I once worked on one that had been made central yoke stick and had Gorf board set in a cage one side…. Many were two player cp . but games fitted still alternated player turns a bit like cocktail tables without the screen flip.

Pc is built and running. Have triggered pin on scart lead to make tv auto come on and go to AV. All controls working.
Also did a small print to cover the strip in glass that normally takes mini controls
