HDMI convertor installed and it looks good. No lag and I'm sure the colours are better than using the old GPU on the old PC. (y)

Any chance you could give some details on how you connected up the pc to your jvs? I’ve never had any luck getting it to work.

Cheers
I'm not using a JVS for this. I've bought a U-HID and I've going to mount that to some perf board and connect it to some sockets that replicate the two sockets on the io board (io board like the one below).

So the original cables that plug into the io board sockets will be plugged into my perf board/diy io board which in turn connects the U-HID to the PC. That way, when I want to install any original hardware like a Chihiro I can just unplug from my diy io board and plug the cables into the proper io board.

I have the U-HID, the perf board and the sockets. I just need the time to wire and solder it all up.

I'm currently testing the software/emulation with a PS4 controller 😳

Dude, did you ever finish this. Was a great read!
Thanks. I needed to finish a project so most of my attention has recently been on finishing my Pac-Man Cabaret build (https://www.ukvac.com/forum/threads/scratch-built-pac-man-cabaret-finally-finished.84525/).

Now that, that has been done I did start looking at this project again, but I think I might actually sell it now to make space for another cab. It’s not quite ready to leave just yet, but if anyone is interested let me know.

It doesn’t owe me that much and it would come with all of the 18 Wheeler bits as well. If someone wanted to play Crazy Taxi on this, you would only need a Naomi and a net Dimm/Crazy Taxi cart and you are good to go. I might chuck in my U-HID partially finished solution so someone could finish that if they wanted to install a PC.

If I had the space I would keep it, but I’m maxed out now so it’s one cab in one cab out now.
