What's the plan for the weekend Paul?

Well you can get here as early as you want on Sat 3rd...I will probably be up from 8am to get stuff ready so whenever you wanna come over - just do it!!!

The train station is close to my house so if you are "train-ing it" (10 mins walk or a very quick car ride) your all welcome to stay all weekend if you want to.

We may struggle to find parking spaces for everyone right next to my house but a pub car park is very close, although bit of a 'dive' to go in for a drink in there ...but whatever.

We can fix, play, chat whatever you all want to do, or all of it.

I can cook some stuff to munch throughout the day/evening and/or we can order something if everyone wants? Domino's etc... can't afford to pay for all of your pizza's though

My mate works at Britvic so I'll get some cases of soft drinks etc... maybe you guys bring some booze if ya want?

And/or we can hit a pub later and get a meal if everyone wants?

Even a taxi from town to mine would be £5 max I would think.

There's a good Weatherspoons in town which is cheap and quite big, should hold all of us alright even if it's busy in there.

Stay up all night arcading it, Mr C you can crash in the spare room if you still want it? I will get a air matress for the front room if someone (Setch maybe) wants?

Also there is the sofa which is pretty damn comfy if anyone else wants, as I say not the biggest house in the world but always dry and warm with the heating blasting out.

Can't smoke in the house but can in the garage if everyone's ok with that or just outside the door.

I'll get a light on the go outside so we can all see even if it's dark.

I'd say do a BBQ but unlikely to be that good weather wise.

Can watch movies, or stand up comedy (I'm a big fan) King of Kong (whatever) till the early hours if arcade gets too much kinda like a chill out room (or PS3) then get bit of shuteye (If wanted)

I'm sure most will want to go home Sat pm but even if anyone wants to sleep at a pub/hotel nearby you can always come back on the Sunday am and we can go again till people are sick of it?

Or till we have to go to work again

I do have work Mon am but down for whatever

Viva la arcade till I die Mo Fo's!

Sh*t I've got a bit of work to do but should be all good, this weekend and next week night evenings will be dedicated to getting everything sorted for maximum machine playing and space to cram us in

I'm looking forward to it, it will be like the crazy partys I threw at my old folks house years ago when they went on holiday except in my own house and with arcade machines.

Don't know how the mrs would react to strippers in the house with her present so if you wanna do that it would have to be "The Cave" in Chelmsford (look it up) but that is a £20 taxi there, £6 to get in (so I'm told

) drinks are normal prices in there, £10 a dance...£20 for a good dance!

Not sure how much a "happy ending" would cost you or even if they do that

then trouble is about a £30 taxi back due to the time of night you'd be returning

I'll go with the flow....

Only slight downers are Wonderboy original has developed a fault, was ok...runs but looks like a ram issue, goes a bit mad.

Other than that I think pcbs should be ok if/when we want to swap some boards over in certain machines that can.

All my machines run on normal 10p's (some take £1's 50p's 20p's etc...) I have maybe £30-£40 in change floating around, all key boxes are open or have keys to access them I really can't be arsed to freeplay everything so as we run out of cash you will just have to run the coins through, but I prefer that anyway as it makes it fun like the old days....9....8.....7.....6 sh*t give me 10p!!!

Well fixed ridgey's steering mech, it had a clonk when you turned quickly plus the pot was gonna a bit crazy all spot on now though!
It used to drive me crazy, most people wouldn't have noticed.
Just need to move some cabs about to create more space, i'm on it in the am

Made some good progress over the last few days:-

Hey paulcan69 - Mind if I pop along to the meet up? I'm pretty new to this forum, I don't own an original arcade machine ( I built my own mame one, I understand that may well be frowned upon ;0), the only thing I own arcade authentic is a Zaxxan marquee, would this qualify?? I'd obviously bring plenty of beers with me! :O)
