First time I've come across this thread. Really nice work

Love the press insert machine. I've been thinking of something similar, but see you have a motor attached to yours. Can you set heights for multiple inserts, so it pushes to that height and stops. I was just going to do mine manually but now I'm intrigued.

Keep up the great work

After looking at the images again, just realised that it isn't a motor, but a counterweight, lol.

Thanks! Yeah they are a really handy bit of kit. I've got another project that I'm working on that needs a lot of inserts inserted perpendicular and it was the main reason I made it. It makes inserting them really quick, easy, accurate and fun

I designed mine from scratch but as mentioned before it was based off [this] version from Vector3D. FYI, he's since got a version for sale [here] if that's of use.

Yep, no motor on mine, it's just a counter balance as you said. I used a linear rail on the front of mine though as I plan on being able to mount other things to it such as a dremel.

Bloody hell..... 3.5 years.... 😵‍💫

I have done a lot more work on these, I've just not updated any threads.... I'll try and get some pictures/notes together and get up to date.... might take a little while though!

In answer to your question.... there is a fair bit of development chat of a few ideas from various people in [this] thread over at Arcade Projects.

TL : DR - I ended up designing a few versions but went with the below. Design etc by me, fabricated parts were made by @Ordyne 👍

They are great cabs to work on though. Do you know which model you're looking to buy? I know Mo has a load in at the moment > https://www.videotronicsuk.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Vewlix

Hi Franco , Thanks , its nothing that's going to happen over night but if did end up getting one I'd like the diamond blue cab.

Would like to refurb it and get a decent monitor and PC in it.

I would like to trim down my collection and get a couple viewlix diamond blue cabs one for vertical and horizontal games but have no idea how you go about that and the bits required?

Good stuff Trev. I see you might be going down the Chewlix route now instead?

I think Mo has got some Diamond Blues in at the moment. What games/systems are you looking to run?

Yeah , ive been thinking it might be the better option .

1x its brand new condition so no messing around with fixing it up.
2x I want to gut it anyway with new screen , speakers and control panel.
