Any feedback on using Airtag type of trackers?
I am looking at Chipolo One. Currently £10 in currys. Any advice would be appreciated.......... I have minimal knowledge on these things but might be useful on a Japan trip I am planning

I had an apple AirTag, put it on the dogs collar, went for a walk, it fell off, never managed to find it even though I know pretty much where it must have fallen off, waste of time and money

I was lucky with mine, dropped my car keys in the snow a couple of years ago and after panicking my phone took me to the exact spot on a pavement, would never of found other wise.

I also have a cheap version of an AirTag but it just works on wifi where as I believe the Apple one has a long version of blue tooth.

The benefit with Airtags is that it bounces its signal via Apple and Android phones when people pass by, it's not always the same with 3rd party trackers, so worth checking!
