Have you tried the jamma/vga dips when getting video via the Jamma connector to see if that makes a difference as it may be a toggle that switches between the voltage levels for arcade monitor vs TV (Something like 3volt vs 1volt). There also appear to be RGB adjustment pots on the board next to the jamma edge.

For the sound you may need to change the output to i2s, depending what the card is configured with, standard Analogue I/O I think uses i2s for audio.

When you say you tired to toggle SW3 on the DE10, do you mean from the bank of 4 large switches? According to the documentation you only want that one turning on if you are using a Digital I/O so you can use a second SDRAM module, which you dont want as the Jamma board is connected to the GPIO that would be used for the second SDRAM module.

I have sussed out getting the jamma edge to display rgbs video ( it’s a bit dull don’t know why or if I can get it better with diffrent config)

You mention i2 I don’t know what that is
And I have been reading the optical out is through the headphones Jack ?

Any idea on how optical out works ?
I would be happy with just that on board phono jacks working ..

I need to find the correct .ini file I think?
To turn the de-10 from digital sound out to analogue sound out .

As the Controll app only has options for hdmi sound as I currently have it configured

SW0 turned on enables Analog Audio output, The optical Out works via the 3.5mm headphone jack but you will need an SPDIF adapter to convert to phono
I would say you need analog audio output enabled to get audio from the Jamma Edge and/or phono output on the jamma addon.

IO Analog Pro (Analog Audio) / MiSTercade V1.XOFFOFFOFFON
IO Digital / IO Direct / MiSTercade V2 (Direct Video)ONOFFOFFOFF

i2s is the serial interface on the I/O board that gives analog audio output.

Optical out is via the 3.5mm Jack, you need an optical/spdif adapter to connect to it to get phono output via a 3.5mm optical cable.

To turn the de-10 from digital sound out to analogue sound out .

See previous reply about turning on SW0 for analog audio.

Did you get the analogue Audio working on this via the Jamma Edge or Phono connectors in the end?
I will try tonight bud 👍

Blew up my
Antoni jamma to mister that evening
Whilst 1 was going to try that.. so it has kinda slowed me down. ..
12v Down the 5v rails kinda thing that happens when you are wiring up a jamma test bench at 1 in the morning after getting the rest of the family to sleep !👍🥴.
But yeh pretty sure switch 0 toggled up is the the answer ..
Hopefully I can get into it later after work

Yeh I know .. but for some reason in button config it dose t have test sw?
I need test switch to save and exi game service menu?
There is a an option in the core menu to toggle the service switch. I’ve done it in all the Cave games.

You don’t define it, you just toggle it on, do your settings, and toggle it off.
