The High Score and 1ST are from the same game.

The High Score display goes up to 999,990 and does not reset to 0 but stops at whatever score you had before you gained the points which threw you over the million.

(I had 999,370 on the paint screen and filled a box worth more than 630pts therefore my total score could not be displayed and it shows 999,370 instead.)

I noticed yesterday that the TG MAME high score was a pitiful 829,060 so I had to give it another go.

That is actually 2,162,080 and is the first time I have bothered to score over 2M. That took roughly three hours and I almost fell asleep at about 1.3M.

Yet again, I gave up at this point but as the game gets no harder after about 20-30 rounds then, if I could stay awake, I could most likely play indefinitely as I was not losing lives quicker than I was gaining them, except for when I was having trouble keeping my eyes open...
