Also been really tempted but a bit reluctant as I’d likely face a hefty import charge again. Love the Analogue designs for Mega Sg and the Super Nt, but I’ve also been umming and ahhing over MiSTer...long term would save me loads of cash but still seems early days for it and not sure how the cores compare with Kevtris’ work.

I got the 8bitdo 2.4Ghz controllers a while ago and they are excellent when used with a real megadrive,
usual 8bitdo quality and the receivers are tiny compared to the bluetooth ones for the Nintendo systems
there is also a bluetooth version of them too but they dont come with a receiver and that is huge and one pad and BT receiver is the same price as 2 of the 2.4ghz pads!!

perfect timing for me to open it at lunchtime
Feels nice and it's heavy, comes with a rubber mat to space it when using a Mega CD and a master system cartridge converter too, nice bonus

but so far it's really nice, the video output is great, but Im feeling the sound is not 100%
some off notes in SOR2 and missing sounds in Final Fight CD
I'll
need to spend some more time in the settings,the my life in gaming
review eludes to the audio issues but never really says it!
hopefully its just a firmware upgrade away, because the quality of the sound it produces is fantastic
but so far it's really nice, the video output is great, but Im feeling the sound is not 100%
