how do we enable the uk vac backer icon under our profiles?

It's supposed to be an automated process but appears to be something that's hit and miss at the moment. When we migrate we'll ensure all donaters are shown as having donated on the new platform.

As soon as we can dude. We wanted to give people a *lot* of notice so there's time for everyone to get their profile email details bang up to date. That's really important as a backup so if you've not done/checked it please do so!

We're also building our donations to help pay for it (you guys are the best btw!), it's not cheap but I promise you it will be worth it! We want to get it right and lessen the disruption as much as possible, that takes a little bit of planning and with us all having 'real' jobs it will take a little time. Please bear with us.

I wasn't aware of this as I'm not a member, but I find it very unlikely.

There has been talk of selling the site, and closing before, but it has never happened. I can't imagine it will be any different this time?

I would guess, because I cannot see the thread, but if it has been officially announced it will just end up with lots of replies in the thread saying "please don't close"....and inevitably it won't close

Hi all,

Quick update from us in regards to the forum migration. We're looking to move after the 16th October.

We'll update nearer this time with a schedule but expect sometime in October for the forum to go into read only mode whilst we do all the forum conversion and migration testing.
