Unfortunately we've lost another collector and member of UKvac and Pinballinfo.

We don't know the details yet but have seen he's unfortunately passed.

If anyone was mid dealings with Martyn and you need help please reach out to an admin, we'll try and help where we can.

Rest easy fella.

Was a really nice guy, bought and sold a few bits between us and enjoyed talking to him directly and electronically.

A real shame and will be missed.

Just checked the last message I have from him is a profanity as he had just snapped the neck of his Gauntlet CRT.

RIP Martyn

R.I.P Martyn.

I traveled up to his place and collected a Popeye cocktail table from him a while back. After I got the table home, he ended up buying some OG locks and a high score save kit from the USA out of his own pocket, he then had those 2 separate parcels express shipped to him and he then forwarded both parcels separately on to me at no additional cost. The Popeye table is at my Mom's and I played on it on Christmas day.

He did have some mobility issues due to having a stoke, but it didn't stop him from playing games in his arcade.

Really nice guy.

Extremely sad news, Worms/Worms 2 was a massive part of my childhood. Gone far, far too soon. RIP.

Somehow I've only just heard the sad news, happy memories of chatting to Marytn at T17 and through Games Republic and more recently discussing Atari machines and potential adaptations to controls.
RIP Martyn/Spadge.
