We are proud today to release our feedback rating system.
You may all notice that under your avatar details in the main forum area you can now see "feedback:" and a possible 5 star rating. Here is an example:
This is each members feedback rating. It's there out in the open, easily viewable and will give you a quick rating overview of the users buying, selling or trading ethics.
If you however need more detail You can do two simple things!
1. View the users member details.
2. In the drop down menu - go straight to 'view feedback'
This will then take you to the full feedback page for that member as seen here.
Once in, you can easily sort feedback by Positive, Negative and Neutral comments - and view other members who left it. You can also leave the member feedback for any trades that have happened between yourselves.
Negative is 1 to 2 stars
Neutral is a flat 3 stars
Positive is a 4 or 5 star rating.
This has been done to differentiate between good and truly great and exceptional sellers.
You will notice there are also other catagories that you can leave feedback for!
These are for people that repair PCBs, and people that deliver games for you. We feel these two additions are vital to ensure that the UK arcade community can easily find reputable repair and delivery personnel for their cherished arcade goodies.
And now this brings me on to pretty much the last thing! UKVAC ACHIEVEMENTS!
To really get this off the ground we thought adding some cool achievements would be a great fun addition to the site. Your achievements will pop based on a variety of things. For example:
First positive feedback
Setting the location in your profile
Having performed 10+ PCB repairs
Having performed 10+ arcade deliveries
Just simply hover over each one to find out what they are and how to activate them. As each 'pop' you will get a variety of points added to your account.
Anyhow enjoy!
You may find the achievement pictures will be updated as we come up to Xmas - with the repair and delivery achievements pushing out a special badge 'PCB repair' and 'Arcade deliveries' within the general forum to make these people far easier to see and find.
Finally we wanted to say a massive thank you to all the VAC.Backers that kind donations have helped invest in site updates, prizes like the Asteroids for Revival Mini and many many more things to come in 2014. Thank you
