Another Castle : Arcade Edition

This was my favourite arcade in Seattle -

An arcade with a video games shop bolted on the side. At 5pm, the shop shutter comes down and the arcade next door now sells beer!!!

My pickups first - I am a budding Intellivision nerd.

Then onto the serious arcade stuff...

Awesome artwork on the outside!

There's some nice cabs in there too, Q-Bert cocktail is super cool, and what is that Arkanoid? A tabletop thing...looks really nice.

The Qbert table is awesome and super rare. Now, my favourite game.

The Arkanoid is a bar top made from some kind of moulded plastic, sat on a wheely spinny thing. Really cute little cab.

None of the above cabs would fit in my suitcase

QBert - never really got into it, however was super cool when the US team came to the UK (Croydon CGE show) many years ago. Billy Mitchel was there and many others!
Anyway, this ol' lady (think Grandma) is sitting there at the QBert....yup...she is the world champion!

If you get a 4 way stick on a 45 degree angle, qbert is brilliant!

The rgp/u72 arcade has an upright qbert I will be looking forward to playing.
