Advice needed please . At work a large industrial waste bin rolled into the side of my car, rear wheel arch and put a dent just on the edge near bumper. It's on the metal unfortunately. Small about size of 50 pence .
Now I've heard about boiling water then spraying pipe freeze on to manipulate the metals memory back under its own effort. It's on the outer skin so can't get to push out. Anyone tried ???

you could try a suction dent puller but mind you you did say it is small like a 50p piece so i dont know if that would be successful (im not sure if u get really small suction dent pullers, probably not perhaps)
or, some people drill into the car body to make a hole and then get something like a metal rod in the hole to pull out and grip the edges of the hole as it comes back out, pulling the dent out with it, but then you have to fill in the hole and use matching paint to cover up the work

there's probably better ideas perhaps, not sure maybe google searching will give you some ideas you might not have thought of

Never heard of that however depends where the dent is. If its on a swage line then it will be hard to pull out. If its on a flat surface, it could be carefully tapped back from the inside using a soft faced mallet. Warming it first may help but have to go easy to avoid paint damage. The heating and cooling will in theory expand the metal and then contract it but honestly dont know if it will work on this.

Thanks, just checked what a swage line is, it's just on the edge of that part , literally on the edge and on the flat part away from the arch outer . Got a price after work for auto body shop 160 +vat , work won't pay . It's a 2008 and will be keeping it longer , not a scratch or ding anywhere else but it will bug me having it there . It's one of those things that spending on spray, sliding hammer, filler ect and could make a real balls up as it's metallic also could end up costing more to put my mistake right . Read about this freeze method but at -50 on metallic paint got me thinking ? .?.?.?
