Hi chaps. Had a death in the family recently and have been tidying the estate. We happened to find an old Sinclair Cambridge calculator that I can't get to power up for the life of me. Batteries have leaked quite badly and i've cleaned the contacts as best I can but are quite rotten. I imagine that might be the least of its problems so was wondering if anyone is any good with these that could maybe take a look for me or help me crack it open. I can't find an obvious way to open it up

Cheers!

I found this link that reviews the kit and has the original assembly instructions, perhaps it will help - good luck.

Hi

I've got a few of these.. never been able to shift them so they sit in the draw at work.

I find that the little ones dont switch on if you push the on/off switch into its full position and they only work if the switch is half on.
