Here are some of the cabs that passed through my hands. Wonder where they are now.
Generic woody with 3 Wonders.
Around 2002, I had discovered MAME and was after a cabinet. Flicking through a local free ads newspaper (Friday Ad if you remember) I saw a cabinet advertised locally for £20. Made contact, borrowed a van from the company I worked for and went to collect it. When I got there, a Heavy Metal band was practising extremely loudly in the house and knocking on the door was getting no answer. Had to wait for the song to finish and rudely knock as hard as possible. Anyway got it home and switched to on to find 3 Wonders PCB.
The generic cab was a bit of a monster and stood in the hallway until wife got pissed off and told me to get rid.
So I advertised it though a newsgroup and sold it for around £100. I was happy with the profit BUT looking back at it now...... so cheap.
Think it went to a guy in Lewes who was going to have it in his office.
LS Sound 25-29. Bought brand new from Killercabs for around £350 inc delivery around 2004. The PC and the VGA monitor were creating a hot of hot air within the cab and therefore I had a hole made in the back panel to fit a extractor fan. This is how we will recognise it as my ex.
This got part exchanged with a Sega Naomi Standup.
Sega Naomi Standup
Got part exchanged with a Sega Naomi Sitdown with guy in Leicester whose name I cannot remember but is a member here.
Think we exchanged the whole cabinets rather than just the arms.
Sega Naomi Sitdown
Was moving house and had a bit of a panic sale in 2012. Sold this and was left cab-less.
Think Victor might have bought this but not sure.
Wonder where they are now.
PS - I now have two Pony Mark II 28". Used to have 4 but 2 went to Victor.
