Hi guys. We were planning to visit the Daytona Arcade Museum in Florida but just discovered that it closed about 6 weeks ago.

Does anyone know anywhere else with classic games? Based in Orlando but don’t mind driving a couple of hours. Got a little one of 7 years so bar arcades aren’t really an option. Me and him are gutted.

Nooooooooo. We were in Clearwater the last two days!

Drive was fine though, so I guess we’re heading back there. Thanks for the speedy reply.

Looks like we got some choices, thanks for all the suggestions. Silverball and odyssey are 200 and 250 miles from us, so bit too far. Arcade monsters looks like the winner for now, only 50 miles away, so we will certainly go check that out, take plenty of pics and will give a report when we’re back home. Also wouldn’t mind going back to Clearwater so might check out replay museum too. I know the little one will be up for it. Not sure if I can get that past the wife though!

There's a good (or it was last time I went to it) barcafe at Crossroads lbv, quite near Disney springs.
There's also a classic arcade to the north west of Kissimmee, a little bit further than the airport, it's name escapes me, but Google will find it.

Tons of great games most of the classics and the big konmai and fighting games. Had a really nice tapper when I went.

Seconded on Arcade Odyssey, maybe next time for you. It's awesome. Better plan: Just rearrange your holiday and go to Orlando in November for Freeplay. Neither your wife nor the school will mind at all.

The venue that jrm88 refers to is the place I mentioned at Crossroads
The other place I mentioned a bit further out is https://joysticksorlando.com/ and its to the north east, not north west. My bad.

I had good intentions of visiting joysticks orlando in my recent 3 weeks over there, it was about 40 mins away from where I was staying, but never made it.

The place at crossroads would be very nice if it opened earlier. We are going to drop our luggage at Disney Springs but the place doesn’t open until 4 and we fly at 5. Shame that.

Joysticks looks far more bar than arcade, I can’t even find the game list on their web site. Not that it matters though as they don’t allow under 21’s, so no good for the 7 year old.

We’re going to visit arcade monster today and very much looking forward to it.
