Glad to see it's getting put to good use

I have to say, it was one of the nicest control panels I put my hands on all evening. A very solid build and great monitor on that one.

Another surprise was the Sports Point. Although this example had a disappointing LCD installed, the cabinet was gorgeous and had great sound. Neo Geo fans, don't sleep on that little green cab if one comes available.

A few other games I enjoyed were Atari Roadblasters (with a nice yoke controller), ChaseHQ , Lunar Lander, original battlezone, Asteroids deluxe, Point Blank, R-Type, A scaling sprite helicopter shooter I can't remember the name of, and a new Afterburner with full-motion chairs.

There are also LOTS of rhythm games a full Dance Dance Revolution setup.

Can anybody confirm if they have a Tekken 7, I'm guessing probably the first arcade in the UK acquire the arcade version.

There was Tekken on a pair of Viewlix cabs, but they were down for network maintenance when I walked past, so could be Tekken 7.

The sports point was mine built up from a battered empty cab it did have a toshiba flat crt tv installed in it and a one slot and loads of new bits looked pretty good
When i sold it to arcade club bury
To fund my pinball machine

Is it now in leeds ?

Hey :) a long few months... Launch went well, everyone enjoyed the new venue and
it's great to see a proper arcade back in Leeds! :)

I've posted a few pics on FB (link Below)

it's public so you 'should' all be able to see it even if you're not on FB

I'll upload some here when I get chance with a video

thank you to the Vaccers who came tonight its was great to see you!

I sold an LCD'd sports point last year too strangely. Possibly an old one of mine too. Although it didn't have LED buttons when I owned it

Edit - Just seen post above

Cracking night at Arcade Club LEEDS last night. Great to bump into a few of the usual suspects there (UKVACers not cabs!).

I don't really want to say too much about the set up, to avoid spoiling the wow factor but I will say that Andy and his team have done an incredible job, it's bl**dy marvellous.

Get yourself to Leeds, you will not be disappointed.

Good luck Andy.... You can tell that an awful lot of passion, care and effort has gone into Leeds and you've nailed it.

Footnote... The burger was top notch and I spied a hand pulled beer tap!

My mistake, it must have been a flat CRT still installed.
