It was actually really good on the spectrum as was target renegade
I remember playing target and pretending to myself it was double dragon as there hadn’t been a conversion yet
Then I found out double dragon was out on sega master system at that point there was only sega games on it .so exciting to say the least
I never played renegade in arcade ,I’ve played it since obviously on mame .
It does nothing at all for me in arcade form which is strange but true
Nice memories of home conversions but best left there I think .
Good choice bods btw to discuss

I purchased the PCB from the States years ago. I sold it on, could not get on with it. The C64 version was great though, and I remember playing Target Renegade loads

So pretty much all only played it on 8 Bit Computers, amazing that

I noticed watching the Video, C64 version doesn't even have the Boss standing by in background

Again it was in another Compilation set I bought new, I didn't have money to buy many games, mostly copied but this was a great buy £9.99? maybe £11.99 but 5 decent games

Boxset of the century!!! 😍 That's what I had. Although I also had the big box Barbarian with the poster 😜
Did they swap the games around for Amstrad? That double-sided poster when I was twelve... mmmm 🤣

Awesome set that, again I was copies for the most part.

I'd love the boxset of Dizzy games on the spectrum they did, hate to think how much they'd go for now.

Just had a few goes on it with mame, not best with keyboard specially when keep hitting start key trying to jump

I didn't see anyone playing conversion running, not sure if you can on anything but arcade but running into the wall and knocking yourself out is quite funny or worse running off end of platform to your death, love running at em and punching, can knock 2 or 3 down sometimes:LOL:

Can sit on the boss when he's down but he throws you off, some good features in it, being able to punch one and back kick another at same time, hadn't played the Arcade till mame but brilliant it is

I remember playing it on my Commodore 64 too, although I agree, the controls were a bit tricky back then. It's cool that you have the PCB and other arcade paraphernalia. As for the gameplay, the boss waiting for you to take out his gang added an extra layer of intensity, didn't it? Overall, it's a classic that still holds up today. I'm sure many arcade enthusiasts have fond memories of this gem! And hey, if you're ever looking to make some extra cash, you might want to check out online earning apps. They're a fun way to earn a little on the side.

That something or other edited it too is a bit.... random? Or is that part of the scam? Anyway yea that's pretty good. Perhaps "I agree the controls were a bit tricky" (that wasn't actually said) and "and other paraphernalia" (err the whole forum 's about that!!) are both giveaways in review but they didn't stand out on their own.
