Arcade noob

So basically I have never owned or repaired/maintained a arcade machine other than pinball machines
Currently we have 7 pinballs
Taf
Sttng
Diner
Ij4
Medusa
Banzai run
Cftbl
And I was wandering if I wanted to join the arcade comunity what do I need to know on how to repair them. what is the best machine to start off with which isn't too expensive and so that I could learn the basics

Best starter machine is a JAMMA arcade cabinet. You can put any JAMMA compatible PCB in it then, plug and play!
