Ok so I now we dont know what Santa is bringing us but what arcade related pressies have you requested ??

I have requested some Money so I can go and but a couple of cabs I can restore and one will be a dedicated Wonderboy.

No good asking my wife for anything , Last year I asked for a Jigsaw so I could do a few jobs around the house. Christmas morning when i opened it she said " I was unsure if to get you a 750 piece or a 1000 piece " FFS !

Obviously provided you been good you will all get what you asked for

Oh and remember " AN ARCADE MACHINE IS FOR LIFE NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS "

Dave.

P.S Hopefully Big10p Will rate this thread for me :) lol

Don't know if I've been good. I did try! As posted previously, bought myself an unexpected Sega Blast City Cab for my efforts.

Now completely fookd moneywise 😆

Have a good Xmas everybody and remember not to be a **** (and not just at Xmas) 😍🕹️✌️🧜🏻‍♀️👍

Nothing. I bought a completely unnecessary car a couple of months ago so I'm in guilt mode for at least 3 years.

I'd settle for some free time to do arcade stuff though, if it was on offer.

An I-Robot PCB has been on my xmas list for the last 35 years but Santa has never delivered :ROFLMAO::(
Oh and it would be a waste to have a Wonderboy cab just running Wonderboy when there are so many other good games on the Sega System 1 board, my multi would sort that out ;) (shameless plug )

Sounds like the main present on here is a good dose of 'Buyers Remorse!'

Happy holidays to one and all, thanks to everyone who bought stuff of me/sold me stuff in 2023

I was so impressed by that home built cab on gumtree the other day I immediately wrote to Santa to see if he could get it to me….
But happily I sobered up and remembered he is fictional ……. and worse than that the note I sent up the chimney came fluttering back down on to the hot coal so he didn’t get chance to read it anyway… story of my life……. Nothing goes to plan … ( glad that plan failed to be honest 🥲)

Angry emoji ….. ouch!! Think that’s a first??

It just shows some people are never grateful for the effort other members go to to try and bring a happy outcome

But thanks ‘dad ‘ TheDaddy…. socks will be ok instead…

I've been after a killer instinct for years, and every time one comes up I have to curse the front door of my house because it just won't fit. Not so much the door, but there's a little wall outside and it means those big midway cabs can't be rotated.

Donkeys years ago me and a few friends were hanging around a building/demolition site as you do and there was a huge JCB left unattended. So fair enough, up we hop into the cab and started fiddling around with the controls. There was a screwdriver left on the control panel and funny enough all it took was a quick twist in the ignition and the machine roared to life. Ohhhh that was some fun, let me tell you! We drove up the side of a mountain of a rubble and pulled a proper balancing act, the whole machine rolling onto one caterpillar wheel and the bunch of us leaning the other way to correct it. So over we drive to some old sturdy building that (I hope) was going to be knocked. By now I had the knack of the controls and I positioned the giant claw, bloody pinpoint, right up to the door. Just like moving your fist up from your wrist, the whole claw went through the door and wall like a knife through butter. The power of it was something else. Then we did the whole 360 swing at full force through entire stories. It was a good day.

Anyway, I should do that to my own front door. So this year Santa is giving me a JCB so as I get a killer instinct cabinet :) Happy Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas all…

I’m suuuuper lucky that I have almost everything arcade related that I want, and certainly enough to keep me entertained and occupied for the rest of my days…

But that’s a boring answer, so if we’re doing Christmas wishes then top of the list is an SNK Candy 25 with rotate mechanism and chrome CP surround so I can sit it next to the U4 and they can be twins!

Very few games left to get, but I wouldn’t be angry if Father Christmas brought me In The Hunt, SFII WW, Ninja Commando… Darksoft CPS1 multi in a Jansen case maybe?! 🎅🏻
