Never really been a fan of cocktails to be honest and never owned one, but I always thought Arkanoid would be very suitable for on, So I picked this one up from Alpha and Alex's latest raid, cheers fellas.
Anyway, Chuckie egg dropped it off last sunday, No keys though so I havent had a chance to have a look before now. If anyone needs new taito 7800 or 7900 keys, I got two cut from these people, arrived the next day, and both work fine and not too expensive
www.Keys-cut.com
Here it is as it arrived.
Note the weird sticker and aftermarket spinner.
Lifted it up the lid and was greeted with a not so subtle operator mod
And the underside:
I can only assume that at some point the glass was off and someone wanted to reach in and add credits. I can think of better ways myself
.
Cab is sprayed black but I fancied a more retro feel so today I applied some DC fix woodgrain vinyl, not sure how well this will last, or hold up, but its a nice cheap simple fix, and looks pretty retro.
Also glued, filled and sanded the hole in the wood, will give it a lick of paint tomorrow.
thats all for now.
